You're correct; but, you can have multiple vehicles on one ez-pass, as long as you go on the ez-pass site and fill in the blanks.

I put mine in the front of the trunk in the net there. Never a problem and easy to swap into my Victory instead.

I bet because the magnet for the speaker is well below the box under the grill, it wont have any effect.
It's also a round ring magnet that tends not to extend it's magnetic field out very far.
