    Default ST-S heat problem?

My wife has an ST and it dumps a lot of heat out by her leg. Does anybody know of a fix for this problem and is that normal for the ST's to do that. Thanks for any advice.

    Default Depends..!

what year is the ST..?? Most have an exhaust for the fan that blows back on the right foot/leg. Spyderpops (sponsor on home page) has some fixes for that re-directing the hot air flow. The 2013's had some added issues with heat but you should check and see if all the updates were made to your wifes ST. You can do that by vin# at the dealer. Left side heat comes from the exhaust pipe and you can wrap that (autoparts store)....

    Default Right or left?

Left side there are many post in the ST forum discussing this. If it is the right side "foot" heat, not too much you can do. The radiator is in front of the right foot as well as the cooling fan. There are some fixes out there to help redirect the heat off the right foot. I believe the right foot heat has been there from the beginning on all models up until the 14 RT and now the 15 F3 it is not an issue.

Please see the other post on HEAT issues. There are two solutions listed. One from capt.jim and the other from me. capt.jim's is a much cheaper solution. Hope this helps.
