Default Tank bags for the ST

Well...after a lot of looking, I cannot find a tank bag designed for the ST. I found a few for the RS, RT and even one for the new Spyders.

I thought I could get one like the following and try it out (or wait for the fest coming up to see what other's might have done)...BUT, I'd love to seem some ideas and/or pics of what others have done. I would love to have one in time for the fest for my own reasons...mainly, I plan on as much riding as possible before even going to the fest...so there...blah! I'm so hooked on riding my ST...my second time at "kid-dom" is here...

I'd like to have one mainly so I can grab my camera quicker than having to stop, get off the bike and get it out of the frunk. PIA

Here's one I found which might work... http://www.jpcycles.com/product/224-358

    Anyway...thoughts and/or pics??

You found tank bags for the RS? If it fits the RS it should also fit the ST. RS/ST pretty much is the same bike. Just seat, handlebars and headlight/windshield assembly are different.

    Default Here's what I did..!!

went to nelson riggs. Most tank bags tie around the steering neck and clip under the seat. The one for the RS fits the GS, RSS and the ST. There are others making them check our sponsors then ebay...

Dave is right if the bag fits a RS it will fit the ST that First gear one on your post looks like good quality and I bet you can make it work.
I have been thinking about one for my ST let us know what you get and how it works.

The Nelson Riggs tank bag for the RS will not fit the ST, it is too high and the bars hit it when you turn. We bought the Nelson Riggs CL-1010 for my wife's STL and modified the straps to hold it on. We had the one on her RS and used the clips from that one to the 1010 bag.

All I've seen is these bags are for RS only. There are some for RS and RT and then some for only RT...

I'm digging that laguna bag at the moment...give myself a few more days before making up my mind. Regardless of which one, I'll share along with pictures.

I took a "generic" bag and put two screws through the bag into the plastic just behind the handlebars and adjacent to the switch panel where the parking brake switch is. Works great and no one sees the screws and it is secure.

bayoumanPIBE— What bag did you find that fits? I have a new 2014 STS and have also been looking for something that's adaptable.
