    I went to install on the girlfriends 2011 RSS and found that the screw on the grip was a Phillips screw and half the thickness, so the hardware that came with the kit wasn't going to work. I was able to use a longer screw and used locktite to get it installed. Not sure why this bike was different.

    This Kit was not intended for the earlier RS with the tubular handle bars. I have not had access to one since I started to expand the fitment, but I will get that done and make a proper kit for those. I am glad you were able to adapt this kit! Send me a pic.

    It looks the same as all the rest installed, but I need a stronger screw than a drawer pull one. I will also need to put a washer to take up the space because the hole in the kit accommodates the larger hex bolt you provided. Likely try a hardware store this weekend and see if I can't find a proper bolt. When I saw that the factory screw in the grip was slotted for a Phillips head, which was loose to start out and replaced it, it doesn't tighten. Don't know if it was striped when it was assembled or not, so I put a very small amount of locktite for now.

    I don't have any chrome ones at the moment, but I have had a few requests so I will run a batch through chrome. That usually takes 4-6 weeks b4 I have them back.
