I-70 should be OK by then, but you never know! Ski season runs into June, I believe, in Vail! But the road will be clear IF there is sunshine. Could be cold though. In late Sept 2013 I had to wait for snow to clear off and it was 36° over the summits!  I'm thinking of going and that's probably the route I'll take, going anyway if not both ways.

Hi Paul and Janet. I'm the dude you met in the Bass Pro parking lot and later at the pub and then we met Chico and Karen. Gina and I are looking forward to meeting up with yu all again. I believe Chico said you two are planning on the SD trip with us this July. was just reading the SD visitors guide a few minutes ago. we had a super time last year up there and can't wait to go back.
also looking forward to Spyderfest. looks like record attendance this year - now at 555 people.
Hope your weather is good for riding. we can't do a thing cuz we have PMS (that's Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) AND cold weather.
