Owners Event Location....Hmmmm
Well,as we are nearing midnight (he, he, he) and the promise of an announcement from BRP after New Years, where will the 2015 Owners Event be.....Maggie Valley, stick with Durango or try something new like South Dakota? Where, oh where will it be?!!!!
Butch and I are seriously hoping for a midwest location like South Dakota. They have all the venues needed for our event, lots of great roads and beautiful scenery. With our event taking place in June there wouldn't be as much congestion yet, especially since Sturgis isn't until August.
Come on BRP leak out a little info.....please.......

Waiting...!!
Ahhh..!! The wait. They will be back from vacation the 5th so maybe some time after that. They are doing some reorganizing within and my delay this though not a good idea if they want a good turn out. Many have to pick thier time off now...and there are many events to choose from...

Last I heard it is going to be in Tucson, AZ. They are just firming up the location in the "old Pueblo" as we speak.
Hope it is not more than ten miles from my house.

Well, at the Durango event they indicated the next one would be in the northwest woods. WA or OR.

Utah
Southern Utah has a lot of great places within a few hours of riding. Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion's National Park, HWY 12 Hog's Back, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Lake Mead and Lake Powell, Hoover Dam, and Vegas is only an hour and a half away. If you haven't been to all of those places you better put them on your bucket list. Just those places mentioned would take up a weeks worth of riding. Lots of accommodations in St. George as well. Quite a few Spyder Ryders in this area as well. And a dealership to help out in our city.

Grand Canyon
Forgot to mention that the north rim of the Grand Canyon is only a two hour ride away from St. George as well. Its a great day trip. I've been to both the north and south rim. Both offer equally beautiful scenery and views. Its about like comparing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I'm so lucky to live in an area that offers so much.

They should hold the next Owners Even in Alaska so Alaskans don't have to drive a week to get there (at least for one event anyway!

OK, it's the 7th of January in the new year. Anybody heard anything about an owner's event for this year?
At the end of the GWRRA's Wing Ding they start taking reservations for their event the next year and disclose the location.
Come on BRP, get it together and let us know the location of the Spyder Owner's event 2015!

I was looking back through the forum... Wasn't it around Jan 25th when the 2014 Durango Event location was "leaked"? With official announcement a day or two later?
We may still have a couple more weeks of waiting.

I had to blow this one up to 300%.
Here's what I am getting.
: There will be a special owners event in Valcourt in 2017. 10th Anniversary.
: There will be no single event in 2015. There will be 7 events attended with sponsorship and support by BRP.
: Event organizers need to get their information in to BRP to be considered as one of the 2015 events.
I think you got the jist of it.
I am really disappointed that BRP is "dividing" up our community. Yes we are getting bigger, but when you do 7 separate events you are not achieving the "we are one" type of attitude. Our own community is starting to put out their own events across the country: central US has Spyderfest, west coast has Spyders in the Redwoods, and the east coast has SpyderQuest. If Spyders in the Smokies becomes a yearly event then the southeast is covered. All that's needed is a southern (or southwest) event and a northern one.
The one company event that happens yearly to pull all Spyder owners together is still something that should happen. I know Spyderfest has become a huge event, but it's roots come from right here, Spyderlovers, and that remains to be the core of the people that attend it and the best event around...primo...awesome....!
The owners event pulls people in that only hear about an event if BRP hosts one. That is a huge group too that will not the same group that comes to Spyderfest. The crossover is rather a small core group. That ONCE yearly event pulled both groups together...you got to meet a whole different group of riders.
I wish BRP luck with this new venture, BUT....
