Just did some research on the strip you used. Neat trick, digital addressed leds. What controller did you use?
The RGB lights are still using the controller from SuperbrightLED. I've had those for a couple years. I'm using an arduino pro mini for the sequence controller. I input the RGB signals from the other controller to sync the color of the HL1606 strips with the rest of the lights.
The 3 base colors work great, and I can also use the 7 color switching, but I need better code when fading colors from one to another. That still confuses the controller.
