    Default Morgan Cars

I was not aware of this particular Morgan until the other day. I think I am in LOVE! Classic, yet some how modern.

    Default Cool..!!

Morgan has been around a long time and still produces the three wheeler. They are great looking sports cars in the old style english tradition. Very similar to the MG's the old ones like the TD's..nice pic...

    Oak??
Great... if you keep it for thirty years or so; it'll outgrow the garage!
    Never mind the squirrel infestations!!
    They are timelessly beautiful cars!!

Had a Morgan 3 Wheeler show up at a ride we had last year for the Low Country Senior Center. The hubby (Tobor 9) also sees the car at the center occasionally. They are neat but as you can see VERY small! It took the lady a # of mins to get out of it. IMG_0029.jpg Also way too low to the ground for my comfort factor!!!IMG_0030.jpg The show How It's Made does Dream Cars and did the Morgan. They repeat them so if you're interested look them up. Might also be available online.

ACE makes a pretty decent replica of the Morgan 3-Wheeler.
I think that they start at about 50K, and go up... a lot!

The modern versions use an S&S engine; I'm not sure what they used in the past...

If money were no object, I'd own a Morgan the first weekend money was no longer an object.

The new Mog trike and the Ace are the same, Morgan made a deal with Ace Cycle Cars to use their design. The Morgan version used an S&S X-Wedge, 122 cubic inch twin, and all of them use a Mazda 5 trans. Earlier trikes used JAP 1000cc liquid cooled twins with 2 or 3 speed transmissions. There was about a 60 year break, roughly 1953 to 2013, that they didn't build a trike.
The picture the OP posted is (I think), an Aero 8 coupe, don't know if the coupe ever went into production.

They are quirky in the extreme and absolutely lovable.

I grew up frequenting a garage where all sorts of weird stuff was dropped off for repair.
Someone had a Morgan 3 wheeler.
Lucas, prince of Darkness Electrics and a motor that I can still hear sing.

Golly I thought that car was neat.
Lucas, Prince of Darkness. Many memories, mostly poor. More jokes then about Blonds. Mostly true. The reason Bits drink warm beer, Lucas refrigerators.
Lucas light headlight switch (on a tee shirt I have). Off, dim, flicker.
    thanks for the memoery

Could it have to do with their impish sense of humor?
