Default Still Riding in November in Canada

It's very unusual, but here in Peterborough Ontario Canada, we don't have any snow yet and today (Sunday) the temp got up to 10C
That's 50F for my US friends and went out for a ride. IT WAS GREAT. Got a lot of strange looks, like what is a guy doing riding a bike this time of the year. Well, I like to ride. If it's not to cold and the roads dry I will go out. Well, no snow and not cold, why not?
Maybe in a few days, I won't get many more chances till spring.
    Enjoying while I can.

    Default Yes, still riding

Riding between rainy days. Roads are still wet in places but mostly dry.

I ran the snow shovel today. The metal roofs are finally letting the last of the snowstorm, get in my way again...

Bob, what is a snow shovel? I got kinda sweaty on my 185 mile lunch ride yesterday. At 76 degrees, it was nearly too hot to ride. Fourteen Hill Country Road Riders went to Utopia, TX and had lunch at the Lost Maples Cafe. The twisties were crowded with motorcycles...

We had our usual Sunday morning breakfast with our little Spyder group. For different reasons, the wife and I were the ones that rode a Spyder. We went on to do a 130 mile ryde. It was a perfect day to be out and about. We'll be doing more tomorrow, as the temps will be in the lower 70's.

We just got back from a 3 hour ride today. Clear blue skies, light wind and 68 degrees. I came in, sat down, started reading Spyderlovers and saw this thread. I can ride at least a little every month of the year. What has got me down is that it isn't a good time to take week+ long trips because the weather is so uncertain.

Went for a ride to Webster Forida with three other bikes. Had lunch at a nice little restaurant and returned home about 100 miles round trip. Saw another Spyder and a lot of other bikes.

This was my first ride with my wife as a passenger and all went great. She loves the Spyder and says it is more comfortable than my HD Ultra Classic.

On this side of the world it's the start of summer:-)

Though I'm all year/weather rider anyway - Winter time is when the 'hot right foot' on an RS comes in useful:-)

It was tough but did it anyway. Rode today in 80 degree temps! Sorry to have to report this to you Northerners. Dust off your old Snowmobile Suits and get out there. -19 degrees below zero and the Snowmobile Suit, Boot and Gloves kept me toastie warm. We also used them for motorcycle riding in the winter in Minnesota when there was no Ice on the roads.
Sealboards was asking what people wanted him to invent. Maybe chains for the Spyder or an enclosed top that you could take off in the Spring. Just thinking!
All my life I wanted to be somebody, now I realize I should have been more specific.

Here in Central Texas we have winter for a couple of days in the middle of January. Will still ride but it will be COLD! (20s)

For those that may have been misinformed, we do have 4 seasons here in Central Texas.

I officially "winterized" the Spyder on Sunday. Weather here in Michigan is unpredictable until spring. Besides I have to travel 1.5 miles to get onto pavement, so even if it is nice the back roads are greasy.

    Default Yes Sir

Yep i'm still ridding here in GA. Suppose to be in the low 70's today and tomorrow. Sad to hear you are in hibernation. We southerners don't get that kind of winter thankfully.
