Aluma 6810 Tilt Trailer

Looking for a light weight quality trailer to haul my RT behind a small car. Aluma builds awesome aluminum trailers. Their 6810 Tilt looks just right.. Anybody running one?

I like the Mission trailers - seem to offer more (affordable) options. Look at paying just under $3K for what you want. A decent covered trailer is about $1K more, but not small car capable.

Think that is the right area. They are not fancy, just shiny and well built. But mainly they are light at 500 lbs. Like I said, I want to tow it behind a small car that usually doesn't tow things.
Checked out mission trailers but did not see a plain, open, flatbed tilt. Nice other stuff tho'

I have an Aluma 7210 with a bifold ramp, weighs in at 420 pounds, cost $2K plus tax.

Just finished a trip with a Aluma 7712 HT....it pulled great..the tilt loaded and un-loaded easily...just drive on drive off. I bought the larger model so I could take some other boxes. Also if you had a 622 it would fit on the trailer as well. A high quality unit.

I used this H & H trailer to get my Spyder. Their website is www.hhtrailer.com. The guy I got this trailer from added the panels along the bottom and the racks on top to carry his kayaks, which I wouldn't need, but he paid about $1300 for it in 2011. It towed very well and as you can see, I used a small SUV. A Toyota Highlander. The Spyder fit in like a glove and it had a bi-fold ramp that there were no issues driving it up on there. The other cool thing is that ramp will lay down in the bed when the trailer is empty so you don't have that sail effect when towing empty. The only thing is that I would recommend calling for their dealer list because trying to get one from their website has been challenging. He got this one from a Tusk trailer in Mesa AZ. (I think) That's what the decal on the trailer said. This trailer was an RSA Rail Side Sinle Axle and it was 78 inches wide and 10 feet long.

There's always the Kendon fold up double wide trailers. Store easily, and are light....

the 7712 HT is my second choice. Did not think about my 622 fitting on as well 'cause when I use the trailer, I am usually riding the RT or just plain towing the 622 as a trunk behind my old XLR which has no trunk w the top down

I plan to tow with a 2014 Ford Escape which is rated at 3500lbs towing. I just towed with my 2014 Ford F-350 Superduty Diesel....it didn't even know it was there!

​I too tow my Spyder with a '14 Escape. You should have no problems.

but it has a ramp and does not tilt. I have the Super Clamp system. It is absolutely great. Trailer is light enough I pulled the trailer with Spyder with a 4 cylinder Frontier very easily.

When you are patient, fun things happen. Today I found Keith Rodehorst at our Riverview RV Park in Vidalia, La with a 4 day old Aluma 7712 HT behind his nice motorhome. Then I found he was carrying a 2011 White RT L

Actualy got to load my Spyder and see how it looked. Still think I would rather have the 6810 HT but I will have to order and wait whereas there are lot of 7712s not too far away.
Just have to take my time and dream!
