Anyone know where to get the protective plate that goes under the front of the frunk.

you should really say what bike you have so owners of that bike can help better, try this for starters, halfway down the page http://www.spyderpops.com/5.html

How much does it drop the clearance up front? I have a steep driveway and my RT-S just clears the curbing now, I'm afraid if I install the skid plate I may not clear the curb.

I put this one from Big Bike Parts (41-160 - CAN AM WEAR BAR ACCENT) on mine. East install and protects the nose well.

The angle from the street to my driveway was a concern when Spyder shopping. The second farkle on my new ryde after the SpyderPops KOTTS Grilles was the Bump Skid. Although it pinched a bit more clearance from stock road height I had planned to and always approach or depart the driveway at an angle, one wheel at a time, with lots of room to spare, even two up. YMMV.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
