I know the couple that just purchased this beauty. I met them this summer while traveling in Cody, WY...sorry you had to part with your Spyder, but know this couple will get lots of great miles of smiles from it...

FYI only the 2 year warranty will transfer and not the BEST four years. Just went through this myself. Hope the other couple know this.

wouldn't the BEST warranty transfer? I thought all the new buyer had to do was contact BRP and transfer it? If that's the case, I'm in big dodo. I just sold my '13 and told my buyer how to transfer it.

When I bought my 2011 RTS used the Best Warranty was transferred! It says it is transferable or at least it did last year!
I simply called BRP and they told me to send a copy of the registration and proof of purchase receipt.
1 week later I got my Best warranty sheet and card with my name on it.

When I traded my 2013 in with the extra 2 year BEST warranty two weeks ago I offered the best warranty paper work to the dealer and they said they did not want it as it was not transferrable. That is all I am going by.

When I sold my 2010, my dealer told me that there was a $50 charge to transfer the BEST warranty on my 2010, and the new owner had 90 days from purchase to transfer it. He had me sign the transfer line, and that was that. I got a premium on the bike because of the warranty. Different stories for different parts of the country??
