Screen is orange
I just went and started my spyder and the display is orange,can anyone tell me what that means,I never saw that before

It must be dark. The orange background is much easier to read at night than prior color combo

Yup! Got that yesterday pulling into my garage at 4:30 PM, Cloudy, very dark overcast.
Don't hardly ever see the night screen since we are from the land of the midnight sun. My riding is usually done during the daylight hours.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

The snesor is located at about the ten O'clock position in the analog speedometer display...
Put your palm over the speedo display, and you should see it change over to the nighttime setup!

I can get mine to come on if I cover the whole speedo with a paper. I have not been able to locate the exact spot for the sensor though. I have played with the 10:00 position (140 or so area) and come up dry.

so nice to see a happy ending with no problems...enjoy your ryde though when you get to the light your display will change but you will know why...

Looks like u got answer[emoji106] as long as u dont get error messageImageUploadedByTapatalk1411178169.659074.jpg ,best thing is to turn key off and watch screen more than 20seconds see if something pops up and disappears, took me awhile to catch that pic fyi, g'luck
