    Default Cat Bypass

Have not heard from BRP since I sent them a email about my heat issue. I have been reading as much as I can about the issue and am thinking about being pro active and have the catalytic converter removed and have the bypass pipe installed. I understand a phone call to Pitt Bull is necessary to get the bypass pipe. Does anyone in the Houston area know of someone who can do this type of work ? Do I need anything else besides pipe and gaskets ? I'm thinking maybe BRP responds to the "Squeaky Wheel" concept, but staying positive and nice

Yes you can order the cat bypass from Pitbull. I'm not from your area so I don't know anyone there who can do it, but if you got a friend to help you, you can do it yourself. I do suggest getting everything from Pitbull. Gaskets are a must ! Also, you can get some heat wrap from them also. It will help a lot. Get the stainless clamps that hold the heat wrap in place. Hope this helped.

    Joe,

Why did you want to be rid of the Cat on the 2014, with no heat issues. Just curious. Also, what changes have you realized since doing it?

Cooler sound, heat gauge teetered between 4 & 5 bars normally, now just steady 4 bars.
