Anybody with real world experience with Show Chrome windshield?
I am not all together satisified with the factory windshield. I have been looking around and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Show Chrome Accessories windshield?
Of course, I fully realize that windshields like seats are totally personal and subjective, but................

show chrome
I haven't seen the show chrome windshield I bought the California scientific extra wide medium height. The quality of it is not real top notch
like there were a few small chips in the plastic at the top however the design is what is more important to me Cal-si has a good understanding on how to get rid of the buffeting issue they have a relief vent cut at the bottom third of the windshield that helps relieve buffeting and the plastic or polycarbonate that they use has held up well to scratching. I bought some Show Chrome arm rest's for my wife's
RT and it is really well made nice looking hardware it came with great installation instructions and nice chrome and upholstery.
I would say that if the Show Chrome windshield has the vent in it to relieve buffeting than I would buy it because you can pretty well bet on it being a high quality well made unit.

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered one. I'll take a shot at it. I will report back my observations after it arrives.

We put one on our RT, Less air on arms and shoulders. You also have less head buffeting. Seems like you can run with the shield lower with the same amount of wind from the original shield.
We installed on several others with positive feedback on all.
Shields are all personal preference though. Very easy install and reasonably priced.

I had an F4 windshield on my Road King. It had excellent scratch resistance and was guaranteed for life. However, it did develop a little crack and a few emails to F4 went unanswered.
