Default What's Wrong With This Picture?

I thought I would update my previous question about my hydraulic issue. I took off the cover and this is what it looks like. The fluid is a clear as could be, but as you can see, very low. Also the rubber gasket was in perfect shape not pinched or anything. Is it just a matter of topping it off? Any Sunday morning thoughts?
I also took pictures of the surrounding area in case something fell off?

    Default As I see it..!!

you need to add fluid and the rubber gasket should not be collapsed at all. When it is the fluid is low and the gasket should keep what fluid is there close to the inlet.. As long as no air or moisture got in the system you should be fine but still may have to do some bleeding...

Be prepared to bleed the system, but hopefully not.

Take out the gasket being careful not to get any brake fluid on your bike, put some fluid in the reservoir leaving room for the gasket, put the gasket back in and the top back on. Wipe the gasket
so it is clean. It should sit flat when put back in and the fluid should not be on top of it.122.jpg

Can someone point me towards a part number just for the gasket. The one that came off (that was pinched and never on right from day one). Is shot. I called three dealers and no one could help with that question. Still waiting to hear back from one. Grrrrr, someone help.

Default Final Update!! Fixed, Problem Solved

The "cap set" part came in Saturday. Still no answer as to why mine originally had a thin paper gasket, (see pictures). No one at three dealers knew why. The BRP people do not know why either. Anyways, we bleed the line, (tiny black chunks and all) and an air bubble or two. We bleed the line until the fluid ran clear and no air bubbles. 100% fixed. Thanks to everyone who lead me in the right path. Thanks to Lamonster for the video on how to remove the side panels. Huge help. Now I'm off to a rally in PA Thursday to Sunday.
