I've heard nothing but good about them...
But the 2014's speakers appear to have been improved significantly, so I haven't felt the need to purchase them yet!
I was getting ready to pull the trigger for my 2010; traded the bike instead...
Come to think of it; it would have saved me over $30,000, if I had just bought the speakers!
Hey does anybody know anything about the J&M speakers. Are they better than stock.THANKS
......I swapped my OEM's on my 2014 RT out for JBL's - GTO's all 4 ......cost $ 100 delivered.. ...IMHO I will not play them at full volume because it's too loud......The sound is still excellent but 1/2 or slightly above is loud enough for me ......If you want to hear them before taking the plunge.....you can PM me for my Phone # and we can set up a time and I'll play them for you..........An offer doesn't get any better than this .............unless you are going to SPYDERQUEST in Sept. then you can listen to them in person....Mikeguyver
Well I guess I have to toot my own horn here about the videos I make.
Seems no one else uses them to help people by referring to them.....
Seems I am a "individual" contributor here.
That's fine, I do it for the fun of it anyway not the group politics or recognition....
Have a look.... hope it is helpful.
Enjoy!

Bob,
Your videos are AWESOME!!!
I've been pretty reluctant to upgrade my speakers...
The 2014's are a lot better than the 2010's
But i'ts more a case of my great talent for klutziness...
You make it seem easy!
Bob, I second that! I bookmarked the one about the SM10 Bluetooth cable. You made it look easy enough that I figure I can do that too - one of these days when I get around to looking for those little terminal sockets.
I had J&Ms on my 2011 model that I installed. A slight improvement in quality but at the expense of volume all be it a very marginal drop as proved by my sound meter. I just upgraded to Polks but you have to put an amp in to push them to the rated RMS or the quality is about the same as the J&Ms. I installed a neat little Fosgate Rockford amp along with my Polks and I could not be happier. I later added a dedicated compact sub base with amp to round out the sound. Very nice... Total cost was $500, I did the design and install.
......Maybe if I said I paid $ 1000 for the JBL's ( instead of $100 ) they would generate more interest here ......At any rate I'll put them up against anything anyone else has ..........................Yea I'm bragging .....Mikeguyver
