    Default I just upgraded my 2011 RT-S by 'downgrading' to a 2014 ST-S

Picked it up about two weeks ago from Pitbull Powersports. Thanks to Len and all at the shop for a great experience. Traded in my LOADED 2011 RT-S and RT-622 trailer so somebody is going to get a really nice used Spyder soon.

Thanks to Gene0108 for putting this crazy idea into my head.

I got it with the hard bags, radio, backrest, swaybar and cat bypass pre installed. Wow! This thing handles and runs like a dream.

I am amazed that I really don't have to put a good sum of $$$ into this thing, like I did my RT, to make it what it should be from the factory. I could not be happier!

I have added (All off of my RT-S, so little to no expense):

    - Bluetooth Dongle
    - Butler Mug Holder
    - USB Port on handlebar.
    - Center Handlebar Single RAM Ball Mount

Other things I MIGHT do (Also from the RT-S):

    - Kewlmetal Air Intake
    - Wolo Bad Boy Air Horn

The ONLY thing I think I NEED to do is add some highway pegs so I can stretch out my legs a little. Probably will be getting those from Lamont.

Anyone who LOVES to ride and has an RT should give an ST a chance it has many of the creature comforts and a LOT more power when you crank the throttle. It is so much more fun!

I have both the 2014 RT-S and the 2014 ST-L sitting in the garage. I think that the RT will be more comfortable on long rides where the ST is more fun in town. Although the wife does not let me ride the ST that often. That is her bike.

    Default GREAT CHOICE

My sister in law rode my STL the other day and she called the head snapping throttle response a (whisky throttle) this is after she and my Wife took a road trip on the Wifes 2011 RT from Seattle to Ohio and back taking turns driving. she couldn't believe the difference in acceleration how much quicker the STL was than the RT. you will have a ton of fun on your new STS

It is definitely more responsive than my RT was!
