Bob the 20S have the latest Bluetooth hardware version out now bt 4.0. Don't know if you will need all the features but nice to have the option in the future if you can swing the cost

I haven't even begun to think about the cost just yet...

We are just like you Bob. We just use the comms for talking and we have the Sena SMH10. Can't say enough about them. Best intercomms we have had and we went through many. We bought our dual set last winter and paid only $194 on Ebay.

The key thing is bt version so you can take advantage of your next smart phone. Better noise canceling more efficient power wise

Also they have included in the box options such as extended boom mic you can mount the unit further back on helmet if needed. Also you can use your own ear buds if you want

Hi Bob
If you don't want all the Bells and Whistle's that the 20S offers I would
go with the SMH10D-11 Dual Pack $269.95 the units are super dependable
and easy to pair and use. AND..... the price is right

They say that it's all set up for bluetooth comm. systems...
The Missus and I only use the inercom for talking... no music, cellphones, GPS directions, or bike to bike... garage door openers, radar jammers, or cable T.V.
Which model would you suggest?
Thanks!

Bob, I have this exact helmet. The BT part of the helmet is made for a specific brand of BT made by Chatterbox. It will not hold Sena or any other brand.
When it says BT ready this is what you get:
There is a little box on the left side that holds the BT unit. It has a door on it you remove to install the chatterbox.
Inside the helmet are areas to hold the speakers. However the large Sena speakers do not fit and you have to trim some foam.
The helmet expects you to use a stick on MIC to the modular chin guard. I did not like that with the wire. So I trimmed some foam in the helmet near the bottom corner edge to mount the Sena boom MIC.
Needless to say unless you get chatterbox BT system, this helmet provides no extra BT capability that any other helmet.
