Lamont has a cat by pass. I have one and like it.

I have replaced it on my SM5 ST. I love the differnce it has made to throttle response, and a little increase in power, but love the new sound I have coming from my Debaffled Akrapovic.
Its not a Lamonster one, as I am in New Zealand. I managed to get one from Australia
it is slightly different to the Lamonster one. The 2 pipes from the headers come down and join at a Y joint just before the
mounting point to the Muffler, where the Lamonster one has one pipe integrating into the other with out the Y joint. Siamese I think they call it.
My pipe is the same as the top pic here, and the bottom pic is a Lamonster Pipe

Replaced cat with bypass

Had my cat replaced with a LaMonster style bypass on my 2013 RT Limited. Reduced heat under the seat (it's still noticeable, though), increased mileage and responsiveness at lower RPM (thus probably better torque from the reduced back pressure) and a throatier sound from the exhaust. Have noticed some tendency for mild backfiring when I engine-brake by downshifting a couple of gears on a downgrade.

With these by pass, is it ok with nanny? Plug and play?
