    Default FINALLY CUSTOMIZED MY WHEELS

Had my rt-s for almost 3 months and i have been wanting to do my rims since day one, well finally did 'em. I have the pearl yellow
bike so i wanted to do my rims in the yellow with cnc machined face. I'm putting on blue valves, lugs & center caps with yellow
spyder emblem & yellow tape weights. I was happy with the road force balance at only 6/1000th radial run out. Doing the pearl
was a lot of work but I think it was definitely worth it and I wanted to know that I could do these wheels without any problems.
The only thing i didn't like was the color was in waterborne so i could not do a powder coat clear.

When I get home tonight I will install them on my bike and tomorrow when ride to work I can take photo's of the bike with my
'new' wheels. I will post the photo's of them on my bike after I get to work.

IT'S RAINING!! . Didn't pull the bike out today. It will be another day or 2 until I take the photo's. I did install them last night & even my wife who doesn't want me to do anything to my liked it. We both agree the spyder emblem i put in the cap makes it look sweet.

it's a waterbase from company that carries spyder colors & i use their clear for first coat then i use my german clear to finish it after i did the cnc machining. their paint & clear is very thin, did not like it.

Since it is sunny out i am riding today & here are the new photo's on the bike.

thanks, it's my spyder emblems i put in the middle that give it the finished look. It's funny how the simplest things can make the biggest difference. during the winter i will pull off my rear wheel if i can figure out how & do that one
too. my utopia backrest & gel pads go in next weekend & i think that is the last thing i am doing on my little guy.

the emblems i had made, spline lug nuts i carry in 4 colors & we stock a lot of metal valves in chrome, black & blue. the work on the wheels is what we do, we are a wheel & tire repair place so that is why i did mine. if you want to ship your stuff in i can do it, pm me so i can give you a quote. my wheels were hard because it is a pearl otherwise nothing special in doing them. the mount & road force is easy on our wheels that is what made me happy to have them done.
anyone that wants me to do theirs send me a pm
