    Default New Owner of 2014RTS-SE6

    Hi:

Today, I went and picked up my New 2014RTS-SE6, I got the Cognac. I traded in my 2012 RTS-SE5 with 8,560 miles, @ Walt's in Derby, VT.

They were nice, I did not feel rushed when I/they finalized paper work. I love it, when I get a chance I will post pic's.

Yes, there are nice dealers out there. I love it. on the way home I got caught in the rain, so I pulled over and put my rain gear on. The 14'RT handled well in the rain. I like the ECO Mode. When I am going up a hill I am in 6th gear. My 2012 I had to be in 3rd going up the hill. When I went to pass cars, the had the power to do it, the engine was very smooth and quick response. Dee

    Thumbs up New owner also

This is funny, congrat's on your new ride and in the color that you got. Would you believe that yesterday I also picked up my new 2014 Spyder RTS-SE6 n the same color. I am a first time rider on a Spyder altho I have over 40 years of exp. on Cycles this was a new exp. for me. I got about 5 miles from the dealership and almost turned around to take it back. The bike was all over the highway with the front end having a mind of it's own. I fixed the problem when I found that the left front tire only had 8 lbs. of air in it and the right front tire only had 14 lbs. in it. The rear tire had a whole 18 lbs. in it. After bringing the tires up to where they belong I found that the bike is a great ride with me putting a little over 200 miles on it yesterday. After putting the bike in my garage I decided that I should check on some other things for my safety and started by checking on the motor oil level. Low and behold it was a quart low. Remember now this is a brand new bike that I just picked up. I will be going over the rest of the bike today as it is raining out anyway.

Well Deanna good luck with your new ride.
