Hi folks, I'm a new spider owner, came from a Harley to this st s.my question is,I need more noise and saw this tailgunner exhaust and like it,but then I read a review that said he had problems with popping and sputtering,he added a 02 mod and that fixed it,however that was on a 2011, is the 2013 more forgiving?

to the spyder world and this site. Coming from a Harley you should be used to it... But it will vary with what you do how you ryde and if you have an sm or se model. I have a Hindle exhaust and modified air system and all is fine. Some popping but have a manual shift so can control it without the need of o2 sebsor mod or fuel controler. Hard to say fir most places that sell pipe will be happy to sell you the sensors and controlers...

Looking forward to hearing, and reading about your experience
I first became aware of these unique pipes several years ago, from "Orange County Choppers" on tv.
Certainly was not expecting to see them again, especially utilized on a Spyder exhaust. They look awesome and often sound very decent.
I have the tailgunner on my old 2013 rts & now on my new 2014 RT limited
I love it on both of them
i have the same exhaust on my 2011rts it does have a nice roar to it curious as to what it will sound like with-out cat on a rts..have you had the 3 screws on the rotating barrels come loose or the nuts falling off? i've had to replace mine twice..also i carry wd40 as the bearings seems to need lubicating often so the barrels rotate freely have you noticed this on yours?. well over all i like it and now that i know it will work on a 14 i don't have to worry about buying another one when i trade in. i have had both models there offering for the spyders the recluse is nice but one day on my way to work the whole rear end of the exhaust was gone when i got to work never heard anything happen i just noticed it was gone, but charlie at tailgunner said he never saw anything like that before so he said send it in we will fix it got it back went out on a 10hr ride next day went wash bike was checking out pipe and noticed that the rear was really loose called again and told them i wanted a different one the widow maker no problem he stated send the old one back and we will send out a new one.was traded and mounted in a weeks time hes got good customer service and will honor warranty beyond the 1yr mark altough mine happened within 6 months.
Tall flag mount, spyderpops skid plate & stainless steel screen mesh, airhawk adjustable cushion, raised white lettered tires.
I have not had a bit of problems out of mine whatso ever,,,,,,,,,,,,, I do carry wd40 with me & give it a squirt or so every 500 miles...... just to keep everything spinning freely.....
Thanks to all that have replied to my post.
i installed the tail gunner today,it took a while but it's on and sounds better than the stock,I would like louder, but for now I will live with this.
if I can figure how to get a pic on here I will post one.
when I took it for a ride,it stalled as I was getting ready to pull away,it started right up and away I went, there were no issues like posted by others,so far anyway.
maybe I just figured out the pic.

Looks great, if you want it louder, get rid of the Cat Converter and replace it with a Cat Eliminator. I have done this with an Akrapovic fitted on my ST SM5 and it gives a better sound and better throttle response.
