Brake Pad Spring - Replacement - Need Help!
Help!!!! I was changing the front brake pads on my 2012 RS and one of the springs on the back of the pad broke. The dealer said I have to buy a whole new set pads. Does anyone know of an easy fix/cheaper replacement? Or, does anyone have an extra from an old set?
Thanks

Try this..!!
go to dealers and check with the mechanics. Those that do oem brakes must have some. Your request may net you some here some have suggested those doing the job hang on to those clips...good luck

If you're talking about the Brembo units, here's a link to a company that sells Brembo brake parts.

I assume your talking about the e clips on back of of brake assy. a lot of folks have lost them doing brake jobs on Spyders, You can purchase a 300 pc assorted pack of them I have...and has proved to be very useful having them on hand if needed....Link below...

There you go...!!
I had faith we would come through. Curious cause if we are talking "E" clips you can get those anywhere...autoparts, machine shops, hardwear stores etc. Have box full but need size...
