2014 exhaust questions....
Looking at the Cognac 14' right now. Every bike I get I always mess with the exhaust. I want a mean sound. Anything else out there besides Two Brothers. And should I just pop it on or do a cat bypass with it?

I seem to recall some videos posted with the TBR system, and the catalytic converter yanked...

Try this..!!
You tube has pipes and sounds. Not true to form but a good referrence. Two Brothers is big, Akrapovic new oem pipe, Yoshimura may have one just have to check. Some have removable baffeling to add some sound...

Am installing the Akrapovic on our RT Ltd this coming Wednesday at the dealer's. Am still on the fence about doing
the Y-pipes at this point. Perhaps I experiement with just the Akrapovic first and see how I like the sound.

I didn't remove the Catalytic converter. That decision is still up in the air. Sounds real good the way it is. I haven't mastered uploading videos, etc. yet.

Got the dealer to install the Akrapovic muffler, but didn't remove the catalytic converter.
End result is that I didn't notice much change, but I expect it to be louder and perhaps will be after I put it a couple of hundred
miles. Sounds pretty quiet to me now.
Our STS with the Akrapovic muffler sounds great.....so there is still hope.

DIY
here's a DYI project for ya.....
SAM_0868.jpg SAM_0873.jpg SAM_0874.jpgSAM_0875.jpg
chop up your OEM muffler, insert a Glass Pack Muffler, and then glue it all back together.... VAROOOOOOOOM.....
i've done a bunch of these, with varying results, depending on how i configure the 'inners'....
but remember, if you don't remove the CAT, it's all for not....
have fun, and best of luck with your results....
PM Pickelhead and ask him how he likes his....
