    Default wrench help

Hey guys, trying to put a belt tensioner on a 2014 RT and looks like a lot panels have to come off to accomplish if I am reading right. The Smoothspyder instructions begin with removing the left middle side panel, but the owners manual shows removing other panels in sequence to remove the middle side panel. I was doing good until I got to removing the two lower retaining screws of the top panel. It requires an allen/torqx wrench with a hole in the center. One came with the tool kit, but it was too large.

Can anyone tell me what I need to accomplish the task?

    Thanks

Do not try to remove those screws. They are security screws for a reason. Just pull the panel off.

Identify what you have control over and find peace with what you don't.

I installed the smooth spyder belt tensioner and did not have to remove any panels just the belt protection piece real smooth installation. You don't remove those torx screws the have a plastic nipple attached to them that fits into a rubber grommet you just pull the panel off with them attached but like I said I did not have to remove any panels.

    Default Warning..!!

They should eliminate those or put a warning on them. Many have tried and many have come to ask and come to find they are decorative for the most part. You don't remove them. If you can raise the roadster you can install it by removing belt cover....
