Congratulations, Jim and Nancy
That is a wonderful achievement and I know how hard you worked keeping your Spyder in great shape to get that far. No one, that I know of, has ridden that far on one bike with the same motor. You should both be proud about what you -- and your Spyder -- have done.
Good on 'ya!

Thanks for all the feedback!
It is nice to hear all of the positive comments about the longevity of our Spyder. It truly has been a great bike. We have very had very few problems with it especially considering the miles on it. We of course are still on the original motor and it seems as strong as when it was new with all kinds of pep. We are still on the original battery, and original front wheel bearings. I have been using BRP oil for almost all of the miles except for maybe 2 oil changes when I used Amsoil. I do most all the maintenance on the Spyder and change the oil between 4,000 and 5,000 miles. I have the KN air filter and clean that every year at least once. I have changed the Zerk fittings on the A arms to either 45 or 90 deg. to make it a little easier to grease them.....it's still about the worst maintenance item to do on the Spyder.
I have changed the coolant and clutch fluid only once, I changed the A arm "pillows" last year and put the new rear fender brackets with the gussets this year, they are a lot more rigid than the original style. I had the original ones replaced the 2nd year, under warranty, but the next time they broke they would not cover them again under warranty so I had them welded a couple of times over the years until there was no more welding that could fix them. I really like the new stronger brackets. Still on the original paint and it looks pretty good still, but will admit I should be getting some painting done to get rid of some nicks and stone chips.
I have car tires all the way around with Michelin Hydroedge on the rear and got over 36,000 miles on the last one. General Altimax on the front with around 30,000 miles on them and look hardly worn at all and have had no issues with the nanny or loss of grip with the car tires. I of course have added a lot of farkles to make the Spyder "ours" as my signature shows. We have an older Lil Caboose trailer that I bought from a fellow Spyder lover from Virginia (thanks again Mark) when he bought his first RT with the trailer in 2010. We have pulled that trailer over 15,000 miles and the Spyder pulls it like it's not even there, except for lowering the gas mileage about 3 miles per gallon.
In answer to Webrab it a 2008 GS and we bought it new on April 9, 2008.
Again thanks for all the nice comments. We already have added about 220 miles towards the 200,000 mile mark!! Well who knows it could happen.....at least according to my wife!!

Now all those Spyder converts to GL1800s can't say that there have not been any Spyders to go 100,000 miles.
