    Default 2013 RS New Leftover Belt Question

    I just got a new 13 RS last week, I put 140 miles on it and I have noticed some real thin gray shavings of rubber on the frame below the belt. Is this normal and if so how many miles does it usually last?

    belt adjustment can be tricky. Make sure your tension is right and your belt is not rubbing the flange on the sproket (inside). There will be black residue on the rear rim from brake and belt but should be minimal. If they are shavings you should run by the dealer and have them look at it...
