the bike is home
it was a really long day people. from standing around all day i feel very old. it started out when i called the dealer to see if the bike would be ready. he never called me back because they were very busy today, so i called my friend and asked him to drive me there because no matter what i wanted to make sure i had the bike for sunday. so my friend drove me there and i was talking to him and i said, no matter what i am getting this bike today because of the long weekend and i will sit there and stare at them till the bike is ready. so we are almost there and my friend chuck said to me, with the rain and weather coming for tomorrow why are you in a rush, i said well being saturday i want the bike because they are closed on monday. chuck looked at me and said JOHN today is friday, i totally lost it because i thought it was saturday. so being there i had him just leave me and i waited for the bike from 12 to 4 pm. so now i have the bike home and just as i pulled in the driveway the sky's opened up,
so that was my day so far and here are some pictures

one this i am glad i ordered is the hand brake, i can't wait to get it and install it. i find it really hard to use the foot brake even with the large pad on it. that will be the first job i do on the bike and i will let the dealer install the xm radio. it would be nice if BRP OFFERED THE HAND BRAKE AS A OPTION, almost all of us are two wheel bikers and are use to the hand brake along with the foot brake. i almost never used the foot brake on any of my bikes so i forget it is there most of the time. now i have to keep reminding myself that i need to use it. yo know OLD DOG NEW TRICKS

You are going to love it John. I rode 200 miles today here in Central Fl. and it was 90 degrees this afternoon, and yes it was hot just being outside, but the bike never gave off any uncomfortable heat. In fact I went through several small towns, and was stopped at red lights for several minutes and my fans on the bike never kicked on. It never got past the middle of the gauge (not that the gauges are all that accurate) anyway, this engine and transmission etc. etc. are all great. I just experienced another 200 miles of smiles. Be safe.
