Was thinking of changing the coolant and was wondering if I should use the BRP coolant or the Motul that I use to use in my Raptor or is there a better one?also how often should the coolant be drained off and changed out?

Depends..!
if you are using motul in your other vehicles why not. As long as it is aluminum safe. There are many out there, ice, and water wetter are good as well. Here in hotter climates We use 75% water 25% premix coolant. Change it every year but depends on your use and ryding conditions...

Spyders do run rather hot , luckily not too much of a problem in the UK , like you say Mr. B.

Like the #2 response said- Every 2yrs is the recommended change- BRP coolant is pricey- any local auto parts can get a gallon- Prestone green -aluminum safe-& is way cheaper.

You can use Water Wetter. It's a Red Line product. I use 4 oz. in my 2011 RS-S SE5 and temp. went down one bar when added to Prestone 50/50 mix .
