    Default 600 mile service

Going on a club ride sunday on my 2014 rss,the ride will put me over the 600 mile mark buy about 200 miles . do you think that is a problem with the dealers if I go over the 600 mile mark or should I not worry about it and have a good time.

We've got a 2014 RT-L and when the dealer delivered it on a Sunday we left for Florida the following Thursday. I told the dealer we would have over 3,600 miles on it when we got back and asked if we should get the 3,000 mile service done on the road. He said it could wait until we got back. Made an appointment for the Friday following our return. After the service we put another 600+ miles on it that weekend. It shouldn't be a problem, but run it by your dealer.

My 600 mile service was done at 900 miles. Others on here did the same.

There's a 600 mile service??!! Guess I didn't get that memo.........................have you looked at the stuff they're supposed to do for the initial service? Piece 'o cake.......................knock it out yourself and spend the money you save on stupid for your ride! Everyone admires Chrome Plated Lobsters!

Running over by a couple hundred miles should not be a problem. We brought our 2011 in at 1500 miles. Put 750 on it the first weekend and another 750 during the next week, waiting to bring it in.

    Default Choices choices..!!

not to worry. They say 600 mile service meaning some time after that. Some go before but it makes no difference. Hope you have a great trip and enjoy yourself..be safe..
