If you plan to be hanging off the side of the bike pushing it to it's absolute limits you will probably be building some heat in the tires which will increase your tire pressure

When I first got my 2010 RT, I remember a lot of posts regarding tire pressure. I have always kept mine at the recommended pressure and, for me at least, it seems to handle well in all conditions.

As I see it..!!
you should never rely on what others do..did your mom not tell you "would you jump off a cliff because Jimmy did". We are all different and therefore do things different. Use the information as a reference but test it and find your comfort zone. Keep your settings and ryde your ryde. Its not a race and you don't need to keep up with anyone. Enjoy it thats why your there...!!

Just ride with normal pressure and you will be fine. Rode the Dragon last summer at the owners event and had no issues, but your arms will be tired if you are pushing the speed a little. Not much time for sightseeing.

As far as not being able to break the rear tire loose without having the nanny kick in? I was able to momentarily break the rear tire loose, taking a 30 mph corner at 60 mph while hanging off the side of bike. The rear tire broke loose, caught, then broke loose and caught again. I noticed later that there is a small dip right at the apex of the turn which may have contributed to the loss of traction, so I decided to not do that anymore, but later on I did get the nanny to kick on (loss of throttle) around the same corner, this time going slower but instead of leaning and hanging off the side, I sat straight up. Anyway just wanted to say its possible to break a wheel loose if the conditions are right.
