Default My 2008 GS didn't start consistantly on Sunday??

All day, on my long ride I would go to start the Spyder and it took several attemps by turning the key to the on/off position to start the bike. I thought I was the problem, but not sure now.

I was always able to turn key/ wait a few seconds and start it right up in 1st gear with clutch in or "N" Last summer! ... now there seems to be no exactness to it. Or am I being a "blank"

Thanks again for all your help or explanation... I think not to long ago someone posted a similar issue, but I couldn't find it..

What happened when you would turn the key? Does the Spyder turn over and not start? How old is your battery?

    Default Hard to say..!!

Not much to go on. Is it cranking but not starting..?? Are you getting all lights but only a click when you hit the starter button..?? Are you getting any codes..?? There is the lenghth of time between starts. You have to press the mode button if stopped for a while before it will start. On short stops you can start right away without pressing the mode button. If not could be the ignition switch gone bad or the kill switch gone bad if you use it. Let us know what you find...
