Default Another Spaceship has landed in Kyle, Texas...It came from BRP.

Over the weekend, I flew to Huntsville, AL and bought Nikon's 2011 Spyder RT Ltd and trailer. I arrived home last night after traveling more than 800 miles in 15 hours.

Most of all, Lamonster helped me with an emergency call telling me to press the brake when trying to start the bike. Thanks to Lamonster, a total disaster was averted.

My wife will enjoy this Spyder. There real joy in being a 2-Spyder family.

Thanks to everyone who answered my earlier question about the transmission selector tab.

    Let's ryde.

No need to be embarrassed! Last November when my RT was delivered by the HaulBikes.com driver he rolled it out of the truck onto the tail/lift gate and lowered it to the street in front of my garage. My only prior experience with a Spyder had been riding my nephew's 2011 RT for about 1 hour 6 weeks earlier. I said I'll just start it up and drive it into the garage. Oops! I couldn't remember how to start it! We pushed it into the garage. A few minutes later, I remembered that maybe the brake needed to pressed. I got on it, pressed the brake, hit the starter, and errrrr, errrrr, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The battery was almost totally dead! So, in the end my ignorance had not caused any more effort than would have been necessary anyway!
