I love my cruise but it's a bear to calibrate. Anybody got any tricks to make it easier to set up?

What do you mean by calibrate? All you should need to do is get to the speed you want and push down once on the switch.

That part happens after you calibrate it. Battery went dead in my bike about a week ago and caused the cruise to loose it's setting. On the MC Cruise upon extended loss of power to the computer settings you have to reset the sensitivity, speed sensor, throttle pull, clutch disengage, brake engage in a specific order at specific speeds. That is what is the bear.

I have a 2010 RT SE 6. All I need to do is fet the RT to 45 or higher and hit the cruze and it works fine. But I must be doing at least 45 mph

What model? I looked on the RT shop manual and I don't see anything on calibrating the cruise control. By the sound of it, you may need BUDS. Maybe someone else can step in. Scotty?

Is this a factory cruise or an aftermarket item?

Sounds different from any Can Am cruise control I know of.

But if it is the BRP setup; take it to your dealer.

This is an aftermarket cruise system that people put on their GS/RS Spyders. Pricey, but a good unit.

Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...
