Sena Headsets and SR10 BT module
We are in the process of changing from our G9's to Sena SMH10 helmet radios and I am considering adding one of the SR10's so I can use my HT while I'm out. I'd like to hear from any of you who have worked with this combination. Pros and cons.
Thanks, ride and ride safe,
Curt

I have almost this setup. I have a pair of SMH10H for half helmets and the SR10. I use an aftermarket CB, the Midland 75-822. Went on a ride Monday with a friend and he said my radio sounded crystal clear. We had no problems at all communicating from close to half mile apart. Probably could've farther but I had my radio squelched pretty good. The only thing I would like is for my wife to be able to hear the conversation. The SR10 pairs with one headset only. I am probably going to purchase another SR10, pair it with her headset and T connect it off of my CB and see if it will work for both of us. Sena says they don't know if T connecting off of the same CB will work or not. We'll see. I was happy enough with the operation of the SR10 I probably will give it a try.

Thanks for the info. I plan to use my Icom DStar HT for this as it might be nice to work the DStar repeaters also and Sena kindly has a cable that will mate up the SR10 and the HT so I can by Syder Mobil this season.

I plan on getting the new Sena SMH20s set when they are available. I already put my name on MC Dave's list One of the things I want to try is pair it with the Bluetooth module in my Yaesu FTM-10 and still pair to BT audio streaming from the SM10 dual streaming unit, telephone and intercom. Might be possible since the 20s has dual BT units in them.

Sena 20S
I am also waiting on the Sena 20s since it will do more. Time will tell.

In the meantime it is nice that the latest smh10 firmware update allows you to connect by bluetooth to a non sena product

So any idea of when the 20's will be available?
Curt
