it's done, and installed. yoshimura /homemade exhaust. the elbow is ceramic coated. thanks to hchays for the great deal on the can. it turned out great , sounds excellent.
it's a car elbow. i fabbed the mounting plate, then had it all welded. i then had it ceramic coated satin black. yoshi did half and i did half.
it sounds excellent. nice deep rumble. i'll try to get dave n teddy to post some video.
We went for a nice ride yesterday and Coz led. The Yoshi exhaust actually sounds AWESOME! At normal riding speeds (speed limit) I could barely hear it. However when he got into the throttle It sounded like a dragstrip (in a good way). That pipe is probably the best sounding exhaust I've heard on any bike. It's got a nice deep thump while at idle and sounds like a NASCAR at 200mph when racing down the road (someone made the triple digit club yesterday)...... Overall I say great job, you must be an engineering genious!
louder than stock. at least twice. not raspy at all. when you get on it hard it's nascar / dragstrip. normal riding, it's a nice deep rumble.
Thanks, guess they are similar to their ATV products. Probably too loud for me on the Spyder, I'd like a deeper sound, but don't care for it to be much louder.
it sounds good but not loud enough with out taking out the baffle, but it runs grate and no need for any type of ajuster like i had on my rs i had a 02 modifier.but that muffler was stright open loud as nascar.heres the rs with the open muffler.
