Shifting RPM on 2014

Browsed though the manual, probably missed it, but what RPM should you shift at to get to maximum speed as quickly as possible.

If you take a look through some of the brochures and videos of the new 1330 triple; you can find the rpm level where it creates it's peak torque output.
Plan your upshift so that it drops you back right to that rpm level, and you'll be good to go!

Also asked this question a couple days ago. No replies--so I pulled the question.

I have also searched high and low through the new manual and can find no reference to suggested shifting rpm's--other than put the in ECO mode and let the indicate when to shift.

Yes, there is the video that was shown early on about shifting--but IMO--the manual should address the situation.

I shift around 3K to 5K mostly, 5K+ if I'm banging it.

Shifting at redline is usually a good way to wring the most out of the bike...
But only when the upshift drops you back to your torque peak...

I've done a little bit of research for ou...
The bike makes peak horsepower at 7,250 rpm, and it's torque peak happens at 5,000 rpm.
I'm not sure where redline is; but the rev limiter is supposed to kick-in at 8,100...
Just find the "sweet spot", where the upshift leaves you at 5,000 rpm in the next gear!

Have looked at Daves for redline. If you stand on the left side of the bike and move your eyes up the redline you'll see a thin white line the redline intersects with at 7500 RPM. Am only guessing that it represents redline. Not easy to see.

I have had mine at 8200 and have not herd any Rev limiting.

By butt says racing shifts should be at 5500to 5700. good old fashion research. Just do it.
