Some of you know I'll be in Puerto Rico for the next few days so no Internet unless the hotel has wifi. I'll see when we get there.

Thanks, we will try to have as much fun as we can. But it is not a vacation really as we are going to scatter my mother in law into the sea at her place of birth. Other than that we should have fun.

Wow there is a desktop computer in the room here in Puerto Rico... much better than trying to read the forum on the Galaxy 4.

It is a good looking carrier

I've updated the SpyderStore.com with some photos from today. Heading to Spyders on the Bayou in the morning. This is prototype 2 and it's looking good to me a road test is in order. No numbers yet, but like the rest of my products I'll sell them as low as possible.

Regarding that question, I would think that 40-lbs would be the limit since that's the recommended max on the tongue weight.
Like the looks of it too. Would be great to use when the full load capacity of the trailer is not required.

Yea, I would not go over that. I pack our clothes and stuff that we take into the hotel room. I also bring along a dry bag and bungee that to the top. I'd still bet it is not 40lbs. For long weekends it provides enough space to not have to wash clothes. I've been on several trips with it on the Spyder and the Goldwing (different mount, same dry box). I've sat on it and raised my feet off the ground and it didn't budge... oh I'm 180 now.

I'm still waiting for my Spyder to return so I can fit up the final prototype. As most of you know I had an engine failure on the I-310 bridge over the Mississippi river with the west bound lanes closed for construction there was no place to pull off so the Spyder had to get me over the bridge which it did wonderful job of. Engine was toast when I stopped. As soon as I get it back I'll be able to resume work on the NHR Carrier. I saw the pile of parts Saturday and they had the new short block but didn't have the new heads yet.
