I have had one on my Spyder for two years and also on my Victory. They work very well. I used velcro to mount it where I can see it as you will have trouble hearing the alarm. When you go beyond any of the setting you make it will beep and flash. Also, have not replaced any of the batteries in two years. It uses a triple A on the display and little watch type batteries on the stems that attach to the tires. Also, never had an issue with the stems as they are a little large. Some people say not to use them they throw the tires out of balance, etc. not true in my opinion.

You get what you pay for. If Brp was selling it it would cost $400 No I have not seen it cheaper anywhere, in fact that is the first Spyder specific system I have seen. Some auto add ons are quite a bit more though.

I can only tell you what has been mentioned before on SL's. Since you are adding weight to the valve stem (probably not much) the manufacturer of this system recommends metal valve stems; on its website, it states that; the rubber valve stems will flex and weaken, supposedly.

The flexing of the rubber valve stem is the same reason that any extension elbow placed on the rear wheel be removed when not checking the tire pressure.

These have become fairly common for use with RVs. If these work the same, one of the good things is it will notify you of a slow leak in time for you to do something about it before having an Oh, Crap moment on the freeway.

I have had them for about ywo years. they are in rubber stems with no problem.
They also have a warning symbol to let you know if the battery is getting weak.
it will show you the symbol by the tire that is affected.

I have the 360M3 system from doran. The metal stems that come with the kit did not fit the rims. All i know is Len had a he@@uva time getting metal stems to work.

The system works fine but isn't cheap.

Looks like the precision might be +- a pound... so it's only good to warn you that you have a flat. The only way I've seen to get the air pressure in the front tires within factory specs of ± 0.25 psig is my Dual Fill.

    Thanks!

I'll weigh them, to see how much additional "poundage", they're adding to the bike...

    Will post the results too!
