Prayers and condolences going out to his loved ones...
It is no consolation; but he is riding now, in a much more beautiful place...

I first met Larry in Hell, MI in June of 2010 when I first started riding he was an awesome guy and I will miss him. Cindi mentioned that Larry was really looking forward to going to Spyderfest this year. I don't remember if he made it last year but he had this bad habit of getting sick right before Spyderfest and having to cancel at the last minute. I remember telling him that he shouldn't plan on going and then at the last minute he could go as it seemed to be bad luck for him to plan on attending. In August of 2012 he and Cindi came out to meet me when I was in Michigan on the American Legion Legacy Ride.

    RIP my friend.
I also met Larry for the first time that day (the first yellow Spyder in the left side pic is mine...and, of course, I'm the one in the tie-dye in the background). I also met Ann for the first time that day.

Larry hauled some stuff back to MI for me from the Owners' Event in Maggie Valley last year. I had just gotten Number Two and didn't have my trailer hooked up yet. We met up in a small town between our houses for breakfast the next Sunday morning. We had a really nice conversation. Sadly, that's the last time I saw him. I really liked Larry.
He sure loved his Spyder and he did an awesome job of customizing it. I got to ride with him several times and was leading the ride when his BRP GPS mount broke and sent his GPS crashing into him! Lots of duct tape was involved with that temporary fix!

    R.I.P.

Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...

Nice story. Very personal. Really provided insight to what kind of person he was.

Condolences to his family. It's always sad to lose a Spyder rider. Sounds like he enjoyed having his.

Sad thing is they were to close on a house here in Greeneville on the 31st. They would have been my neighbors.

I always looked forward to a ride to the Artesian Wells, because Larry might just be there, enjoying himself. He was there quite often, and also joined rides to Hell, MI, and Joe's Gizzard City, as I recall. No pretenses with that guy. He was friendly and accepting of everyone. He will be missed. So sorry, Cindi, we share in your loss and offer our prayers and thoughts.

Hell Michigan meet and greet either 2012 or 2013 I can't remember. Met a lot of good people on these luncheons and Larry was one them.
My condolences to his wife and family.
    He will be missed

    Default So Sorry

We met Larry and Cindi and a few others in Hell in 2012. It kind of early in the year and it was a bit cold. Met Larry and Cindi a few other times at Artisian Wells for lunch. He is a great guy and will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts go to the family and Cindi.
