If BRP is like other manufacturers, they don't necessarily produce these exactly in order of VIN number. Sometimes not even close. Unless they make a special run.

Would be interesting to know who the "Jay Leno" of the 2014 RT is going to be.

I would rather have a later serial number though--just sayin.

My 2010 Premier was #474 and that one has been a keeper until now.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

I had a ski-doo that had a 000001 VIN and it was not any more valuable at trade in time.

Please understand that the last digits of the serial number are repeated for each model/color combination. There can be a #1 black SE, #1 black SM, number 1 cognac SE, etc. Each model designation has its own #1., so there are lots of them.

I knew that each model type RS, ST and RT the last digits repeated but I did not know it changed for color. Learn something every day.

It actually has to do with the alphabetical (alphanumeric?) model designation. These are classed by model, submodel, color, and transmission...or at least they used to be. The only #1's that you can be sure of are the marked PE's. Jay leno has the GS, and I don't know where the first RT went.

So far, your the official winner. Will it hold? Where do you want Bob to send the Johnny Walker Blue to? He don't know--but we will break it to him gently.

Until now? Are you having mechanical difficulties or trading it in for a new one? I have not been on the forum as much as normal lately, so I may have missed out on some current happenings. I hope your ryde didn't give out on you...

I tried some Moonshine about two months ago. I found out I was not a fan. It was like drinking bad turpentine (IMO). Purple? That is even scarier. UNHIJACK of the thread.

Thanks for your concern. I am still very happy with my 2010 and those 36,000 miles have been happy ones. It is on the trade in block because I want that new 2014 with the three cylinders and 1330 cc's. Four years and 36K miles are the longest I have ever owned a single motorcycle.

I am thinking the 2014 will be my last big toy purchase since I am now in the high 60's. I may then go for high mileage and a lot of years on the 2014.
