Sorry to hear that you'r ride was ruined it sounds like it could be a loose brake line maybe squirting some brake fluid on to the calipers?
-

Bummer..!!
if it smells like oil burning it could be an oil line leaking onto exhaust and blowong back to the wheel area. Any brake fluid loss would have tripped alarms. Oil leaks take longer to set off the codes. Not being mechanically inclined best have it checked out. Hope it is something simple...

I'm sure it's just a minor problem that will be easily fixed. No need to panic.

Sorry to hear you had a problem, hopefully an easy quick fix.
Not only was it an easy fix but it took longer to get the oil off the bike then it did to fix it. the Service manager told me they have a site that was talking about a few of them having this problem they checked it and sure enough that was just what it was they replaced the lock tight and put the line back together and I have had no problem whats so ever with it and I have drove another 120 miles on it yesterday and today! They came and picked her up and even paid for lunch for us! Barney's of Brandon (FL) went over and above what they had to do!

A few 14a were affected apparently like the first 10 it's simple actually the sealant around the screw needs to be reapplied, spoke to my technician today, after that's done it's fixed so I take this back it's soooooo minor

Getting mine fixed tomorrow but telling them to pick it up busy busy week for me

Glad you got the problem and fix identified. No oil leaks on mine.

Those kind of problems I can deal with. In fact, I wouldn't even bother taking it back to the dealer (which would take far more time for me to do than just fix it myself). These kind of issues happen all the time. No big deal at all.

If you learn more and can ID the specific screw or fitting where the leak occurred it would be helpful. Thanks and happy ryding.

Loctite 290 does wick, but like other threadlockers it requires clean parts to work effectively. If this fitting is spewing oil, it needs to be taken apart, cleaned, and done right.
