Default RT Handle Bars to RS~S

There was a thread a short time past where someone swapped handle bars from an RT (2013) to an RS~S (2013).... Has anyone done this with an older Spyder 2012 or back?

I want to put RT handlebars on my 2011 RS~S. The grips are taller and sweep back a few inches. This will make my RS~S more comfortable to ride.

    Anyone have experience in this??

This will not work on any bike earlier than 2013 because they changed the design in 2013. For 2013 all models use the same style handlebars with same mounting configuration. Sorry

    Default Handlebar alternatives.....

You may find it to be a more effective and less expensive option to do as I did to get an
    upright riding position.
My dealer fitted Helibars along with the Can-Am 1" riser. Take a look:

This gave me two extra inches of height and five inches closer to me. It works well and my old back
thanked me for it as I now can sit upright. Hope this helps you.
