I just started playing Christmas music on Pandora to make it seem like it was later in the year and that much closer to the big event. My coworkers are looking at me like I need a tune-up on my prescription. Wonder how long before my mind catches up and I stop the madness.

Can't wait until November. My employer's schedule for 2014 will be all done by then with no way to take time off....unless it involves a toe tag!

It's worth calling in dead for!
You could try for that week at the end of April... that's about as close an estimate that you'll be able to get right now.
It has started on a Wednesday, and runs through Saturday.
Sunday is kind of a, "get out of Town" day...

details
Details, details, details......lots still being worked out on the event and the majority will be talked about on the mogangs ride to Ozark mountains this next weekend. I can tell you this spyderfest this year will have the heart and soul of the event remain the same but everything around the event will be new fresh and even better.....The FOOD is going to be awesome, the entertainment and the venue even better I know a lot of you are waiting and we are not putting you off or making you wait on purpose, this years event will be the most work of any spyderfest. The good part is hoping this year to be the best Year ever 2014!!

I'm in the same boat about time off. We pick our vacations in January so I've got time for Spyderfest but Can Am announces the owners event late.

booked two rooms last week of April. Taking a chance here. Best Western on Battlefield. Now one question I have is Springfield or Bronson? I can get a really good price in Bronson have some connections there, which location is better? Never been and we are coming this year!

Spyderfest 2014
Branson is only 30 miles south of Springfield. A number of attendees stayed there last year when all rooms were taken in Springfield. I got lucky today and booked the Quality Inn on Battlefield in Springfield for the last week of April.

Ok price in Springfield is same as Bronson so we will keep Springfield. 44.00 a night is pretty reasonable, now anyone stay at the Best Western on Battlefield? Nice hotel? I just want to make sure it's a nice place, usually stay Marriott hotels.

Yes, its a great hotel. I stayed there for Spyderfest 2013 and will be there for 2014. I will also be staying there this coming Thursday the 10th and meet up at Pitbull on the 11th for the MoGang fall ride.

We would love to particpate in one of these big Spyder events; but having it in potential snow country that time of year leaves us out. We had enough weather problems this year riding from Portland, OR to Pittsburgh, PA. Can't someone have one in warm country?
