Removing baffle on Akrapovic exhaust for 2013 Can Am Spyder RSS
Hi All,
Went down to dealer today to talk about getting a second spyder for the wifey. While we were there, we started to discuss the Akrapovic exhaust. I told him I loved the looks of it, very clean, but the sound could be a little louder/deeper. He said he spoke with the Akrapovic dealer at a show and the inner baffle or flute is very easy to remove.
Back home I go....looking very closely at how this could be achieved. I find two rubber grommets with access to allen head screws to remove these. 20 minutes later these were gone and the sound is music to my ears.
Here are a couple of links so you can listen before and after:

Bob, as soon as you can, de-cat your 2014 and add the Akrapovic and remove the baffles and post a video.

I would LOVE to; but the Missus would be removing body parts from me, at the same time!

Think I'm going to do that to mine when I get home from work tonight. Would like a little deeper sound.

I wonder if any parts can be easily removed from the OEM "can"?
