MC recall taken care of
Hi all, Took my STS in today and had the MC update and had my hood replaced. (I was the one with the "Heat Sync" issue on my hood) Dealer took me in first thing in the morning and I was out by 11:30 am. He even took me back in the shop to show me all the heat resistant tape that was added. Not all was applied to the MC. It was applied to the several places including the gas fume canister and he showed the heat shield that was installed. He said my MC was just fine as was the canister. The new hood looks much better too. The "heat sync" is gone. I believe Steve at BRP, the gentlemen on this site, helped out there. So I'm a happy camper. Just wanted to interject some positive news here. I'm going to be on it as much as I can in the next couple of months since I'm sure Winter will put a damper on that. Happy Riding.

Really glad the "Heat Sync" issue was taken care of by your dealer. Sometimes stuff like that can be a real nag when you ryde cause you know it's there and is an ugly blemish.
