It's just a little farther than a nice afternoon ride for me or I'd be happy to give you a hand. I'm confident you'll get a reply from someone living out your way.

You need to raise the front of the bike up about 2 feet to have room to remove the bar, according to the directions. Haven't done hers yet, waiting on the bar I ordered this morning.

wondering if it would come out sideways if I took a front wheel off?

Per a message from BajaRon about the 2013 install:

"Most use a combination of jack stands and a jack. They jack up their Spyder as high as they can and put jack stands under the Spyder. Then let the jack down and put blocks on it to raise the Spyder further. Some have put the jack stands on blocks as well."

    Default Help

Even if you lived across the street I couldn't help you. I got my mechanic to install mine so I know it's right. I do know if you are adding a Bump Skid also install the Sway Bar first.

The bump skid wont make a bit of difference. It is well in front of anything to do with the swaybar

I posted a video on the removal of the 2013 bar. It doesn't have the removal of the panels but it does show the actual removal and install of the bar.
