    Where and when are you planning to meet up in Deals Gap on Sep. 19 - 22, 2013. Where are you staying? Is there a "host" hotel and/or campground.

    Meeting at the Dragon store, "downtown" Deals Gap... Changed to Sun, Sept 22, about noon to 1pm.
    Great Burgers there! Maybe we can get a Spyder group picture...

    This is a big deal w/ the Mini Cooper group as well.

    I went one year w/ our Mini Cooper to an unorganized event and we had 400 Mini Coopers !!!!!

    Quess you don't read well, I said a bunch including at least 2 Spyders, the rest of our bunch is trikes and 2 wheelers, about 12 scooters, maybe that isn't a bunch in VB, but it is here in FL.

    Polish Eagle and I rode the Dragon Saturday. Perfect weather and a very nice ride.

    So, who's going to join us at Deal's Gap tomorrow...?

    The only spyders we know for sure planning to be there are: CjackG, Derk, Pickelhead...

    We will be there right at noon Sunday.... weather looks great! We also plan to ride part of Moonshiner 28.

    Yes, it was great... but the RT that did the Dragon on Saturday didnt have it so good... gotta give that guy credit... running the Dragon in pouring rain is not fun!

    There was a lot of talk about LEOs handing out tickets on the Dragon, even hiding in the woods with Radar guns, also that several places are now showing a 30mph speed limit!

    I can't wait to get down there on my Spyder! Last time I was there on my Goldwing I got mixed up with a Miata club running their cars there, what a mess! I ended up on the Foothills parkway and had a blast!

    None of it really. It's 11 miles long between Maryville, TN and Deals Gap (Fontana Dam), NC

    Ride up through Ashville and around and it will be well worth it.
