    Default BajaRons install 8/18/13

Progress report on Bajarons sway bar install.

Installed this afternoon. Took the RT out on some twisty roads and then highway. Wow what a difference. Rides like its on rails and no more swaying. Best 199 dollars ever spent.

Pictures of the old bar and the new one.

Installed Ron's anti-sway bar a couple of months ago and then the Heim Joint Links within the last few weeks...GREAT products!

Really improved the handling in the curves!

    Default sway bar

It's a real improvement on handling. Took my riding experience to the next level. I'm really glad I purchased one too.

? About last picture...is that a picture after installing the new bar? If so, is the heim link bolt tightened down? Bolt threads should protrude through the nut.

I agree, Threads should show through the nut. if not the bolts may be too short. (Good catch SpyRyd)

The bolts are not tight yet, was still aligning the bar. Everything tight and snug now.

Another BajaRons sway bar installed today on my wife's RS. My wife is very happy with the handling improvement.

    Question

Okay, do you have to remove all the Tupperware to install bar?

You don't have to, I did just to per drill and per fit for a shark audio system.

The new RonBar is one of the best upgrades you can make.
It does, however, add nore stress to the heim link joints.
You might consider getting the RonLinks to go along with the RonBar.

I have no affiliation with the product. It's just that I'm an engineer, and therefore in touch with my inner geek.

Just a thought. I could be wrong.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Default Another happy camper with Ronbar and heim links!

After 5,800 Kms, I finally had the first major mods done on our 2011 RT Limited today.

The dealer installed the Ronbar and chrome-moly heim links. The end result is simply an amazing transformation in handling and steering.

Other than the reduced body lean on corners, the RT now steers straight as an arrow in the highway and is hardly affected by road uneveness; it is also less affected by draft from trucks and crosswind. I find myself gripping the handlebars ever so lightly now which makes it more relaxing during long rides.

We also installed the HMT brake lights fron Custom Dynamics. It was wired as an additional running light and brake light with the optional dual converter unit. Ahh, my first step into the "Christmas Tree" cult.
